Title: Hero Extended version

I ordered the Hero (with Jet Li) extended version DVD a while ago. It was a chinese release about 7 min longer than the regular version.

However, the picture quality was comparable to a cam version you download form the Internet. It was horrible. On top of that, the company that made the release (FACE) has made their logo visible in the top right corner form time to time.

Hero is my all-time favourite movie and if you've seen it you know that it is the last movie you want to see with crappy picture quality.

So, do not order any 'extended version' or 'limited edition' of Hero on DVD.

Ohh I think thats on my netflix queue.  Need to go move it up!  (Not sure if its the extended version or not)

It's most likely not the extended version. It's only sold in China.

My version of Hero got stolen last year so I thought I might as well buy the extended version. Big mistake. Now I have to pay for the regular version as well.

Not what I'd like to see in a movie. Plus the image is really crappy.

I seen and very much enjoyed Hero quite recently but have not as yet bought a personal copy. I am a sucker for 'extended', 'bonus' etc so thanks for the warning, Sang-drax - sorry to hear that the version you got was so disappointing.
