Probably a fuse. My car's clock is on the same fuse circuit as the 12V outlet, so plugging in my phone occasionally blows the fuse.

Yes and no. It's definitely a fuse, which we replaced several times, but there's something wrong with the radio that causes the fuse to blow immediately if you try to replace it. So I have no radio, no interior lights (except on the dashboard) and no warning beep when I leave my lights on. It's a pain in the ass, but the dealer wanted several hundred bucks to replace the radio or even take it out. Then I planned to buy a $100 radio with free installation and hope that would fix it. Then Circuit City went bankrupt and I spent my gift card on useless Wii accessories. Now I don't really want to invest $100 in that car if it's going to die on me any day.
