I gave up. I called Hitatchi today when the drive has not shown and they said my RMA number/request has been cancelled b/c its an OEM drive. Well no shit, thats what i told them and thats what they told me when i gave them the serial number.
Theres a local guy buying dead drives and he gives 40 bucks for drives between 250 and 500gb. He's probably trying to get nudes of peoples wives of something. Soon as i figure out how to destroy my data beyond all doubt im selling it to him
