I still have to get

CPU:  Intel
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115037

CPU Heat Sink and Fan:  Arctic Cooling
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134

Power Supply:  Enermax (maybe??)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194004
Feedback for the power supply would really be appreciated!!  Is it enough?

Memory:  OCZ
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227289

Anything I am forgetting?

I plan on using Vista 64Bit and leaving 2 memory slots for memory upgrades, but don't expect he will develop the need.

I will install...

Office 2007
ESET NOD32 - Antivirus
MalwareBytes - Antimalware
CCleaner - System Cleanser
7-Zip
For browsing FF will be the default with Chrome as a backup.
Skype
Nero
iTunes
Java, Silverlight, Flash, ShockWave, Adobe Reader, a CODEC pack
Everest
I am getting him a Steam account setup with TF2.
Updates:  for all drivers, Vista SP2beta, installed applications and utilities, and so on.

Feedback??

Looks good to me.  I don't think you forgot anything and the PSU is surely enough for that rig.
