Yea it's weird alright. Benton Harbor is actually pretty nice in the outskirts and country, it's the city when you are heading to the St. Joseph bridge that is bad. And i mean bad, in my experience it's on the list with Camden, NJ.

We drove through it yesterday.  Seemed depressed, but not too awful - not nearly as bad as Detroit or Flint.  We had dinner there and then drove around a bit.  Crossing the bridge into St Joe is like another world though, it's bizarre.

The 5K went really well.  The weather was perfect and I think I ran about 29:20.  Nike+ said I had a solid 9 minute pace the whole time.  Nike+ also thinks I ran 3.4 miles, but whatever.

Had a physical on Friday.  This is what they gave me back - after 5 months on low carb, my cholesterol can best be described as "really good".

Total Cholesterol: 137
LDL: 73
HDL: 53
Triglycerides: 53
Glucose: 80

Thinking the low carb thing is going to be ending soon though.  Will update when I know more!
