I'm getting two new recording toys.
I just ordered a Zoom H4 that will hopefully be here sometime next week. And I'm going to order an Echo Audiofire12 in a little bit. The Audiofire is going to be used in recording studio for my AD/DA in front of my nice Sytek preamp. I've been on the fence with which interface to get but I've decided just to pull the trigger and if it was a mistake then live with it, but I think it'll be good. Only downside is it's purely a firewire device so it's only good for that but in reality I will only be using it in the studio tied to the PC anyways.
The H4 was more of a impulse buy, I've been playing and trying to write more stuff lately and I'm just not happy with my iRiver setup. So this thing is going to stay up in my living room so I can turn it on when I'm noodling around with ideas. Then I'll go downstairs for the polishing. Plus it's an all in one and I'm very lazy so that's good fit.
I'll post reviews once I've had a chance to play with them.
Now dare I go guitar shopping this weekend?
