Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I've read it.
It was okay.
Seemed to be there to mainly tie up some stuff from book 5 and build stuff up for book seven.
The "Teenage Boy Angst stroppiness" has been replaced with "Teenage lust hormones".
J.K.Rowling has either done something really obvious for the last book or something really convoluted: My friends and I can't decided how many twists might occur in what is a kids/young adult fiction.

Wow, quite coherent go team Monkey!
Bought to you by an awful lot of monkeys a plethora of cheap PC's and a proofreader.

I agree.  It wasn't great, but at least it was better than #6.

I have a hard time believing that book 7 will tie up all the loose ends.  There's a lot to be done.  I expect either a very long, but ultimately unsatisfying book 7, or a shorter, good book 7 and another HP series.

Just a question because I haven't read any of the books, but how do they compare to the movies?

The books are much better than the movies.  The first movie was pretty close, but the second and third continued to move further away from the story told in the books.

The books don't have Emma Watson in them.

Depends on how imaginative a reader you are.

Not in Cheez's mind, but she's less than two years younger than me.  Which is more than legal in Jersey.  Go me!
