OK, so I think I got a virus, but my anti-virus picked it up and all the latest scans turn up nothing.  Yet when I go to my local temp folder, it crashes Windows Explorer or if any program tries to use that folder, it crashes.  Disk Cleanup, the windows utility is even crashing.

Any ideas?  The computer is working fine otherwise.

Scans remove virus's but they don't fix issues caused by them.

Remove it from the vault, restore to a day earlier, and scan right away
