Diskeeper 2007
« on: September 12, 2007, 08:14:26 AM »
Anyone use this version of Diskeeper?

How well does it work?  Any issues?  How many times can you install it?  How does installation security work?  We have some machines that cannot access the internet.

I want to use this on a few machines at work, due to the utter lack of regular PC maintenance at my facility.

Obe and I have both been using the former version without any issues at all for a couple of years.  Installations with this version do not require internet access (though updates are provided this way).

If I have to pay for it, I try not to use it.

Though I have yet to find a really good Windows defragger.

I purchased a three pack for different PCs at work.  I also downloaded the trial.  reminds me of the version Obe and I are using.  Faster.  A whole lot more complex and powerful though.

I will keep ya posted.  I do not expect any problems the Executive software defrag utilities always rock.  Much better than the version they provide for MS Windows.
