Been working with a nutritionist to develop proper eating habits. One thing that comes up is that a serving size for meat is 3-4 oz per meal. Do you know how fucking hard that is? Tonight I had this great salmon filet that I seasoned with just some garlic salt. It was fucking delicious. The skin had a nice crisp to it and the top had a nice sear. The meat was soft and moist. I so wanted to go and cook up another one. It has been almost an hour and I still do. fuck

And that sounds amazing, Mike. I plan on smoking some more Salmon first thing this spring.

+1... and i follow it with dessert, then snack on chocolate covered almonds and drink a couple of beers.

Wed (listened today) Howard Stern's producer was talking about how all he eats for lunch is 4oz of smoked salmon and after a few weeks you get used to it. Made me think of this thread.

Never really thought about how much meat I actually eat for dinner, but I made some chicken and bacon tacos tonight and looked at the package afterwards and realized it was 12 ounces of chicken. That, plus an avocado, 3 strips of bacon, cheese, sour cream, and some flour tortillas. I don't think I'd survive on 4oz servings

It has been two weeks since the OP and I'm totally used to it now.
Though I'm still not tempting myself so I'm only cooking that one serving.
