Can I just copy / paste from GC and Perspective?
Hey!
But you only had crap bands in yours, like RoD... :dunno:
-
Don't you call the Fugees crap.
The rest, sure, but not the Fugees.
-
Killing me softly was, meh, OK. Lauren Hill has a great voice to be sure, but the songs? :dunno: Oh, all IMHO of course.
-

It's all opinion, and my taste in music is pretty lame, so I'm only having fun. Killing Me Softly isn't the reason I like the Fugees, though. If the rest of that album was like that song they wouldn't top my list. But the rest of that album was great for different reasons.
-
Maybe it doesn't come across well in teh intraweb, but I'm only having fun too :), and I knew you were. So there. :p :D

No I'm serious, I honestly do not know who they are. Have I heard their music? Possibly. I'm going to check them out. That's why I started this thread :)

Also add the Fugees and Radiohead to mine, can't believe I forgot them. The Score is a fantastic album, start to finish.
-
I wasn't going to add Pink Floyd because I never got really deep into their stuff, but Comfortably Numb just came on a random playlist and now I think I'm going to have to make room for them.... maybe I'll bump Mozart :P

They were the shit when I was 10
So you don't give them credit simply because you outgrew the style? i don't get it.
-
Yes? I'd figure that my top 20 bands of all time would be bands that I still liked, not one that I listened to 20 years ago
-

No i completely agree with you there. I'm just suprised you would use GNR as the reason to disregard my list

Also I will use the rest of your list (minus Genesis) to invalidate it

I really wanted to like Umphrey's McGee but they are just not a good band :(
-
I haven't seen them live, no. Kept meaning to go to Rothbury but I guess I'm too late for that
I'm hoping to see Railroad Earth in Chicago this fall, but I think I'll be by myself because everyone else I know hates them (they're wrong)
-
When I just opened youtube, it recommended a video from Rothbury. This is fate.
