OK, so I like grooveshark for the features, but I don't know if I can live without building a station off of an artist.  I don't think grooveshark's 'guessing' based off of a genre and songs I've added is very good compared to Pandora's.

It seems like all the major ones have glaring flaws that should be so easy to fix but aren't for one reason or another.

So here's how I currently use this stuff.  I still use Pandora because it has superb "station" technology.  Grooveshark can't seem to guess good alternative music for me based on a playlist.  So what I've been doing is listening to Pandora for variety and taking the songs I really like there and finding them on Grooveshark so I can play them whenever I want.  So I'm slowly building a nice little playlist for when I want to just hit play and only hear shit I really like.

Honestly, if Pandora would let me skip around, rewind, and reorder a station, I would never leave them.

You had a typo.  Replaced

Pandora would like me skip around

with

Pandora would let me skip around

For grooveshark, if I don't want to listen to something in particular, I just type in some kind of generic keyword search, like "acoustic," then just add whatever comes up to my play list.

Yikes.  My wife actually went to install that the other day on her new phone and was scared off by how much shit they wanted access to.  I wish the Apple App Store gave you all that information.
