Topic: I need a new podcast

Wait Wait is by far my favorite, if there was more than an hour of it a week I would listen to just that and drop everything else.

So I checked out Uhh Yeah Dude... major thumbs down.  They talk over each other constantly and I listed to well over half an episode and didn't laugh once.  And it's supposed to be a comedy podcast?

I also checked out a few other story-like podcasts... didn't really like any of them.

Yeah I didn't get it either.  I didn't listen as long as you, but I had the same reaction.

I've heard this one a couple times on the radio, and I think it's available as a podcast.
The Age of Persuasion. Sounds sort of lame I guess but it's an interesting look at advertising. Has a lot of "oh yeah, I never realized that but now it's obvious" moments.

Ok, so here's the results of my reviews:

Radiolab - A++  Awesome podcast.  I like the people and the format of the show is new and different. 
Wait Wait - A  Entertaining and fun to listen to.  I wish it was 30 min instead of 45, but whatever.

Anything else that was mentioned I either didn't listen to or didn't like.  I tried a few others that aren't worth mentioning, but they all sucked.

I just found out that Stuff You Should Know is a badass show for doing menial tasks, like mowing the lawn.  I learned about Tourette's and castles while I did the front yard

They have a good one on history worth checking out if you are into that kind of thing.
