Open Source AJAX Toolkits
« on: August 07, 2006, 01:55:01 PM »
Anybody use any AJAX toolkits like these? This article discusses the 6 most popular open source ones. The google one is pretty interesting, you actually write your app in Java and the toolkit converts it to javascript.

The 6 evaluated are:
  • Dojo
  • Google Web Toolkit
  • Microsoft Atlas
  • Open Rico and Prototype
  • Yahoo AJAX Library
  • Zimbra Kabuki AJAX Toolkit

Well..You're right..
Its easy to write your own ajax library/functions.
but these libs and frameworks not just work on ajax, but also they re js libs.

And also, i found a few visual, downloadable ajax developer platformz.
