It has Jonah Hill in it, it can't be good.  And 21 Jump Street was a drama not a comedy.  That and I hate stupid comedy.

This movie was never intended to me a movie of the tv show. Hill says that in like, 6 different interviews.

Also, he is fucking great.

Hey guys, I'm gonna make a show called "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" but do it as a drama with a white cast.  Oh, but it isn't suppose to be a remake.

The movie got the name from the tv show because it was one of his favorites...or something. I didn't give enough of a shit to pay that much attention. I just now it isn't a movie of a tv show.

I think it might be a threshold thing.  I enjoyed Talladega Nights but that seemed more of a parody than a pure stupid comedy.  /shrug
