My sister has an concocktion her ex b/f put together for her. Anyway it runs pretty good but it uses a shitty motherboard. It's an TriGem Imperial v1.02 running Pheonix bios v6.0. She got a 250GB hard drive from a friend because her measley 40gb is dead. Well she didnt know the motherboard would reject it.
I can slave the drive fine, even though the bios never show it as there, windows can still use it. However this wont work for it as the primary, because a) it cant boot from a disk it doesnt see and b) windows vista wont install to it knowing there is a problem.
So i did some homework and it appears anything over 100GB is out. So i have been trying to find an update to flash the bios, as they are 2003, but i cant find any. Looking for some help
