Title: red 78
Post by: Jake on August 19, 2014, 09:12:00 PM
I don't know about you guys but I like a good ketchup. I'm not a fan of the standards (hunts, heinz, etc) - I mean, I will eat them, but only if there is nothing else. At home we mostly eat polish ketchup - either spicy or one with herbs. They cost a little more but are soooo good and are generally made with better ingredients and with less "bad" stuff. Well, I think I found an american counterpart! spicy red 78 - mmmmmm, good stuff.

try it!

Never heard of it.  It's worth a shot.  I fancy myself a bit of a sauce snob.  I am not a fan of most ketchups either.

looks like it is only available in very few places in chicago so far. You can order it from their website but it is even more pricier. I paid about $2.75 for a bottle. Online it is $4.

My wife had that and I didn't like it. I'm a Heinz 57 traditionalist I guess.
