Did I miss something
« on: April 25, 2005, 01:40:18 PM »
Didn't Ken Fitlike post something over the weekend - or Friday, perhaps? :dunno: I really don't have time over the weekends to give anything much serious thought, and I hoped to read it today - and its gone :( I believe at the end of that post Ken said it would be a monthly installment too...

Ken, why did you delete it?
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Those words I wrote now seem too strong
I read them now and they seem wrong.
So I take them back and they are gone
Replaced by such as this dull song.
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?.

LOL, you cheeky chappy,
Your poetry it makes me happy,
I wish I'd seen your incantation,
instead of this pale imitation!

I doubt that much - those words were grotty
They spoke of 'thyngs' considered naughty.
As you may guess from that last line
Blake's own good words I redefined.
