And now there's nothing but rain in the forecast for the rest of the week here.  I was thinking hiking or skiing this weekend, but apparently there's a brewfest Friday/Saturday. Not much better than drinking a bunch of beer on a rainy day!

Rain here.  40s for a few days, then back to the fun.

We got a foot yesterday,  more than the blizzard by several inches.  Took me about 45 minutes last night to shovel my driveway down to the end, but I didn't finish because I was beat.  This morning I went out to finish the job, took me another 30 minutes to shovel through all the snow that the plow pushed into my driveway. It was 2 feet high about 3 feet thick.  My cars are under a carport, but the wind has caused so much drifting that they were both covered in snow and I had 4 more inches on the covered ground to shovel as well.

some places in Chicago got almost 2 feet over the weekend - no one made a big deal out of it like the HUGE East Coast "blizzard" - wussies.
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

We got a foot out of it, or close to a foot.  The kids had fun with it and got a day off of school yesterday.

Haha, I'm headed into low 50s, sunny weather for a hike today. Then cool sunny weather for skiing tomorrow  :afro:

we've had similar temps here. It was -5 again today and the windchils are in the negative double digits.
I had to take the kids out again this morning. I bundled them and they didn't seem to mind but it was no fun.  Bring on Spring!

The pic doesn't do it justice. The right side is at least 3 feet. The pile at the end is up to my chest. The wind chill tmw is -24. I hate winter.

We lucked out again.  Two or so inches.  Took like 20 mins to clean up.

Got another 3/4 of an inch or so this morning.  And of all things, they cancelled school because they have no phone service.... which I get is critical, but it's funny that the phone service would be the issue.

That's kinda funny.  Phones at schools go down all the time.

I wonder what excuse schools had 125 years ago...
