I hope that the rest of the Bears season is as good as today's game was. I actually really enjoyed it. How did your team do?

I think they did the two MNF games last year on the first week too

Lions looked really good, except for some really dumb penalties and running out of gas in the second half

Patriots play tonight!  Wahoo!

Unlike the rest of America though, I don't like Monday night football.  Its usually to late at night on a work night.  I'm going to have to spend 2 hours getting my one year old ready for bed starting just after kick off.  Then maybe rejoin the game in the 3rd quarter but by then I'm gonna want to go to bed.

the last week or so she's had a combination of molars popping through and some kinda severe separation anxiety; she's especially clingy to me. So for the past week, or maybe its been 10 days now,  I can't leave her room until she falls asleep or else she screams and screams and eventually vomits from being so worked up.   And then with her mouth pain she's not doing well getting to sleep anyway.  Plus she's been napping poorly: either not at all and is then to tired and cranky to fall asleep, or napping too much late in the day and then not being tired at bed time.  Its been a frustrating and tiering week for me and my wife.  Even when my wife's in the room, if I leave to go to the bathroom or something, my daughter breaks down.  I'm hoping this is a short phase.  As it is, I'm going to leave for work in a couple minutes as soon as my mother-in-law gets here and I'm sure it will be an ordeal.  When she see's me walk towards the door she's going to fall apart.

So do you still want to run Cutler out of town, Jake?

Most people here in Denver would take Cutler back in a heartbeat.  Damn you McDaniels!

yes. He is only passionate about missed calls by refs that involve him getting tackled.

I don't mean just last week, I mean overall.  He's a good quarterback, and "passion" has very little to do with it.
