Last weekend I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  It slapped my camera around like a little bitch.  A lot of the exhibits were in very dark areas, with lit tanks which of course are covered by glass.  Above ISO 200 my camera gets a lot of noise.  I generally keep it on ISO 80 but had to switch that around this time.

I also made the mistake of shotting JPEG instead of RAW which meant I couldn't really go in afterwards to try and get more out of it.  So here are the few shots that came out.  After the aquarium we went up to Point Pinos and watched the sun go down.

Nice!

It's kinda weird with a handful of people all over the world at this site and you're taking pictures of what was basically my backyard a few years ago. We don't head out that way very often anymore but it certainly is a nice place to catch a sunset.
