Hey Govt, as with everything on this website (from what i can tell), if you can do better than feel free ;)

I have no artistic skills at all, but come on - you can't tell me that's not an ugly color scheme.

hey, has anyone else pointed out the color scheme of the front page is... i dunno, really ugly?

Care to make a suggestion?  No one spoke up when I asked origionally.

What's wrong with it?  Several blues?  Blue matches blue!

Blue matches blue, but the shades we used look bad.  That's all I'm saying.  And since no, I'm probably not going to make any suggestions to make it better, I'll shut up.

On the front page it looks funny when a line wraps in one list but not the other. For example, a "New Thread" item takes two lines, but the "Hot topic" beside it takes one. This causes a funny offset in the row divisors.

I think they should either be spaced out or have the corresponding elements in each list take up the same amount of vertical space.

Hmm... I see what you're talking about, and it's probably worse on lower resolutions... I'll look into it.

The 'who's online' thing displays 'invisibles'; until such a time as it can be made to reflect the personal/privacy choices of members it should be removed/disabled.

Yes I read that - and thanks, Mike - but I still think that the current one should be removed because it violates members' preferences regarding their privacy.

If you need to test it out, couldn't that be done on a private page that only you have access to?

Shouldn't the dynamic content be closer to the top? In 1024x800 its nearly at the bottom of the screen!
