Congressman facing charges over airport incident
August 20, 2007 16:47 EDT

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A California congressman is facing charges over an incident at Dulles Airport outside Washington over the weekend.

Bob Filner is accused of pushing a United Airlines bag claim worker. Filner has been summoned to court on assault and battery charges. That's a misdemeanor.

According to an airport spokesman, Filner allegedly tried to enter an employees-only area at the airport last night. He's accused of pushing aside an employee's arm, and refusing to leave when he was asked to do so.

The employee is pressing charges. The Democratic lawmaker has been summoned to appear in court on October second.

The article missed the part that the guy is obviously a combination moron asshole.
