I threw Numerical Recipes in C in there.

Also, its kinda weird how the links are the cell that spans the entire width of the page. I think just the text part should be the link.

But it makes my job easier that way ;)  I can use CSS instead of crap HTML to space things out.

And yours may not be showing up if you added it in the past 5 minutes... I add the mod approval option, but didn't create the accept page yet.  I'll have to do it straight in the DB.

I dont think the approval thing is really needed tho, i mean the members here can be trusted to be mature, i learned my lesson

I think it's a nice feature... and it's not really for the members, it's the non-members that I'm worried about.

so maybe a check for non-registered members? IE when you register your account gets a permission flag for adding links. Or after a set number of posts/time here the flag goes active. Just a suggestion to prevent spam links and ease mod's at the same time.

Maybe RoD.  I'm still checking into seeing if I can get the user information outside the forums.  vBulletin doesn't come with a solid SSI so I'm in the process of creating one.

On the main page, we have a "links" section on the menu.  If you go there, I've updated it to include a form that you can update the database so we can share various links with everyone.  I know we made this info a sticky at jboard, and I'd like to keep that same sort of thing.  I like a nice library of links and I know you guys had a lot of good ones, so fill it up!

Why is 'the Register' in the fun/comedy section? It's more geek news digest sort of site?

edit: What Betazep said, too. :)
