Baked Brie
« on: December 30, 2014, 03:31:15 PM »
If anyone likes baked brie I have a nice, simple recipe. If you shop at Sam's or Costco I'm sure you've seen these ready to bake bries - they are in some sort of dough with nuts, cranberries and other crap. Most of all they cost twice as much as regular brie and they are smaller. I just pick up regular brie and some Pillsbury Croissant dough, rap it up completely and put whatever I want in it...Usually nothing and just make some cranberries on the side. Put on a non stick sheet into the oven at 275-300 for 20-25 minutes. Let cool down for 3-5 minutes, enjoy. Other than cranberries we like ours with grapes, apple slices and I love apricot preserves!
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Man, I love baked Brie. I think the laziest way I've seen it is to use a round roll, cut a hole in it the size of the brie, then microwave for a couple minutes. Top with honey and walnuts (or again, whatever you like on it))
