Rest Pause

You do as many reps as you can until failure, re-rack the weight, count to 15, and repeat.  Usually I quit after 3 tries because a) I'm cranking out a whole 2 reps at that point and b) I'm usually in the rep range I'm supposed to be by then.

I'm not 100% clear on how it works but I think the idea is basically you're doing 3-4 minisets with very little rest and a higher weight than you'd be doing if you were just trying to crank 1x20 of whatever.

Shit run today.  I have lots of excuses and none of htem are good.  Nike+ says 2.36 miles in 22 minutes, but I think  I went further than that.  Still a crappy run.

Don't remember what phone you have but if you've got gps try run keeper tomorrow. I switched to it from Nike and like it a lot. More accurate I've found.

I have a blackberry and they don't make runkeeper for it.  I'm trying to convince work to get me an iPhone because some other people are getting them.  I'm sticking with the Nike+ for now.  Most of my running is on flat surfaces and it seems to be pretty accurate for that.

Never done that, though sometimes if I can't finish a set on a machine I'll switch to a lower weight without much of a pause. Sounds like something for me to try next time I go to the gym.

This was not a crazy meal before we started doing low carb.  Like I said, it's amazing how fast something that doesn't seem "that bad" can blow the whole thing.
