I'm going to try for a short run after work.  Godspeed, me.

I registered for a trail half marathon today, too :) It's in August at a state park

Meh...

Still not running.  The jostling kills the shoulder.

That said, I try to do at least 5K walking at 4.2 MPH and varying the grade between 0 and 15%.  I often mix in a mile or two of stationary biking to keep it from getting boring.

I work through my daily PT at the gym afterwords.

5.63km at a pretty good pace, about 9 min/mi.  I felt great.  My town is participating in this thing called rails to trails, where they're converting old unused rail lines into running and biking trails.  There's going to be a little over 5 miles of trails near my house soon and I ran down one of them tonight, although it's not paved yet.  It was kind of neat to be running behind buildings I drive past every day.

Yeah.  Go figure.

I have more fun in that game than I can say.  I laugh out loud, cheer and applaud all the time.  I find it just great guy-stuff fun.  The soundtrack is flat out awesome, the action story should have been a movie, and I get every functional DLC (not the useless crap).  Oh and the Landshark gun.  Best gun ever.  I can spend hours on end just driving around with the vague aim of killing all of the motorcyclists in fiery crashes.  Also, I seem to enjoy stealing cars and getting blown through my own windshield at high speeds.

I frigging love this game.  10/10.  Wish I could get obes to try this.

Do you play?

I've got it on 360 and finished it a couple months ago but haven't had time to pick it up since then.  I agree with pretty much everything you said, though.  It's basically GTA on drugs

edit: the first mission might be the greatest mission in a sandbox game ever.  Parachuting onto the penthouse to shoot up the party is a close second.

The intro "missions" are easily the best ever written.  The bank, plane, dialog...I cannot imagine it getting any better than that.

edit: I ran most of tonight's run in my short shorts with no shirt.  You're welcome

5.1 Thursday, 8.5 today

186 miles (297K) for the year, which is already 50 miles more than I did last year (for what that's worth, since I was only serious about my running for a couple months last year)
