Nice!!! I hear you on the heat....I'm getting ready to go out there in a few minutes and I'm not looking forward to seeing what today's splits are going to be.
Stepping back for a second to the philosophy of running....My goal at first was just to be moving as fast as I could for a sustained period of time - I didn't want to sprint a block (literally all I could do 5 years ago) and then have to walk for 6. The way I figure it, my primary goal is cardio, so if I'm moving, it's a good thing. Long term, I like to increase distance and now avg heart rate. But goal one is just to move.
