Australian runner wins local road race
« on: November 22, 2007, 10:50:15 PM »
my town hosts a somewhat famous 4.7 mile run each Thanksgiving.

This year's was won by a 34-year-old Australian who currently lives in Colorado.

Its a pretty big deal in my town each year (I believe this race also alows you to qualify for bigger marathons, like Boston's)  Anyway, its nice to be well-known for something other then a town of endless big-box retailers and malls (which we are)
