Title: Recover deleted favorites IE

My boss, running W2K, accidentally deleted a folder with subfolders from Favorites in Internet Explorer. I don't find it in the recycle bin, and he doesn't have a backup. Is there a way to recover it? Thanks.

Not without spending a lot of money to have someone scan the drive for ghosted data.

Tell him to keep his fat fingers off the delete key ;)

I've never tried this with IE, but perhaps in the future you could try keeping profiles on a server so they're less likely to get deleted like that. It'd probably also help to take away your boss's root privleges ;)

Next time tell him to keep his porn links in a different folder.
