Topic: WTF!

I wasnt sure which forum I should post this in..

This has happened to me a few times.  I will be using the net, and suddenly MSN Messenger will sign me out, and I wont be able to access any websites, yet I can ping a site with no problem.

From the times it has happened I have had steam running.. I cant remember if it has happened when it hasnt been running.  I am able to play CS:S without a problem, so obviously my net connection hasnt cut out.  Rebooting solves the issue.

Ive updated my network drivers for my mobo, there hasnt been a new release of firmware for my router.

Suggestions?  Anything I can try when it does cut out to pinpoint the problem?

I'd say stop using Steam... I'm pretty sure you can load the game without their stupid interface.  Either that or check for an update to Steam.  As always, check for virus, etc.

I don't have any use for Steam or anything like it.  Including the EA piece of shit.
