I forgot to mention it is kind of dim in the place ... for preservation I guess.

Anyway Due to the distence I had to be from the exhibits to fit them in the photo, they could be better.

That is not the Raptor it was the competitor during the evaluation stages.  It lost, though from what have read, not by much.

i saw the sr-71 at a boeing avaiation museum in Seattle a number of years ago.  kick-ass replacement for the u2.

The flew together for a while.  From what I have read the US intel community still misses what they are capable of.  Nothing else we currently have can do the job as well, as fast , or as specifically.  Since Aurora died nothing (seems) to be in the works to replace the SR.
