You really are a moron.

It is a remake of a 1951 film and is based off of a 1940s short story.

TBH I only remembered that it was an old classic sci-fi film.  The dates I just got off the internet ;)

i believe the applicable term we're looking for is "intellectual snob," which of course is the intellectual snobby way of saying "jackass know-it-all."
"I possess a device, in my pocket, that is capable of accessing the entirety of information known to man.  I use it to look at pictures of cats and get in arguments with strangers."

I'd much rather be a jackass then a snob.  Need to work on that :P

So finally watched the remake and I gotta say I wanted to smack that kid around the entire time.  The movie would have been a hell of a lot better if that kid wasn't in it.

Oh and I love the not so subtle environmentalist slant.

I was not impressed with the movie. The plot was boring and the point being made was too much. The effects were good and the production value wasn't bad, but overall I give the move a 3/10.
