Nyquil !!!
I've been sick for the last two week and am just now starting to feel better.  When i'm sick i have NO appetite and don't bother with breakfast.  must say though, when i couldn't sleep in the middle of the night because of my cough, the aforementioned liquid drug did the trick!

If you want something breakfast-y then oatmeal or toast might be cool.

Did your cough get a lot worse at night or seems to only really come up at night?  Getting sick like that happens to me once or twice a year.  I've learned to ride it out by propping myself up with as many pillows and blankets possible so that I'm almost into a sitting position.  One time I was also given a prescription for tessalon perles.  Those were the shiz.

You could always slurp down a big bowl of prune and milk.

Forget all about the cough.
