Terry Pratchett - The Light Fantastic

Give this one an 8/10.  I didn't take to it first time I read it years ago but my sister-in-law got me back into reading Pratchett.  The story starts to sag about 3/4 of the way through and some ideas aren't very well fleshed out and seem incomplete, but the ending is something else.  It's one of his earlier Discworld books, so his style is a little different to the later books, but I really enjoyed it.  Rincewind is a great character and Pratchett's wit is as razor sharp now as it was then.

I picked up Sourcery, Mort and The Last Contient today from the second hand book shop around the corner from work.  All in good condition, $10 each :) They had a copy of The Fifth Elephant but it was pretty beat up.  I'm gutted to hear the guy who runs the place that he has to close down the store - the owners of the building sold up and it's being turned into hotel.  It was the last second hand book shop left in the city itself.
