I love it when you can do that.  It was my favorite level of Psychonauts (criminally underappreciated game) and it was pretty much all I did in Freedom Force.  Pick up a car, throw it at a guy.  Blow up a building with your heat ray.  Fun stuff.

I thought that HL2 and BF2 were supposed to be like that, but that's not even close to the case.

BF2 would be a nightmare if everything was destructible.  You'd get guys stealing tanks and burrowing across the map.

HL2 is cool in that its realistic physics wise, plus most of the items are real, eg bottles and stuff can be smashed. Plus the clanging noises are consistant with the thing being hit.
