Why does iTunes suck hairy donkey balls?
« on: March 02, 2009, 02:09:08 PM »
Seriously... I open this thing 10 minutes before I want to sync up my iPhone and even then it's rarely "ready".  Why is this thing such a flaming chunk of shit?

iTunes is clunky and slow.  It acts like I am running it on an 8088 processor with 256K of cache.

Also it is a bitch to understand some of the menu selections and nearly impossible to back up unless you are a magician and a rocket scientist.

Why can't they simply have EXPORT ALL SETTINGS AND LIBRARY TO (navigate to any internal or external drive) followed with IMPORT ALL SETTINGS AND LIBRARY FROM (navigate to any internal or external drive).  Shit heads only allow you to do this onto a CD or DVD burner.  WTF!!??!!

Really?  Does it.

Does it back everything up (export) onto a nice fat 2TB HDD so that you can install it hassle free from the old PC or HDD onto a new PC HDD?  I don't mean just a few stupid lists.  I mean podcasts, audiobooks, music, TV shows, movies, photos, synch data.  You know.  The works.  All of it.  The whole shebang.  Like you had never moved PCs or HDDs.

Bull roar I say!

The cock-smokers at Apple just don't get that it would be nice to go from PC to PC or old HDD to newer HDD on the same PC without starting all the fuck over again every goddam time!!

Every time I do this I nearly have a nervous break down and Kermi gets to practice professional level psychiatry generally only reserved for Arkham inmates.

Doesn't say anything about supporting the iPhone... and I still want to be able to access the iTunes store, so I STILL have to use iTunes.
