Just tried some that we coated in sweet baby rays bbq sauce and fire roasted. Amazing.

So Ashley shot another one while we were outback, so i cleaned him real quick and quartered him. Dry Rubbed him in old bay and lawreys season salt. Then coated a few sheets of tinfoil in butter, wrapped it up and tossed it over the fire. Awesome.

Can't say that I have, though my friend did throw a dead one at me once. Squirrels around here are pretty wily and hard to shoot.

The meat is very lean and on the tough side.  Not as gamey as some.  Nothing special.  Kind of like turkey drumstick but drier.

It is a bit tough, but i found that frying it was 10x better. It reminded me of a pork chop that tasted like dark meat chicken.

I meant the texture. It's tougher then chicken, sort of like a prok chop. It's like eating a pork chop that tastes like dark meat chicken.
