I don't like pork chops honestly. If they tasted like pork chops, i wouldn't want them.

You are cooking your pork wrong.

Learn how to prepare and cook them properly.  Usually they are overcooked, dry, and nasty.

Every time I cook pork I get trichinosis.  Pork sucks.

didn't the usda just lower it's temperature recommendation for pork a couple of months ago?  it's relatively safe compared to ground beef or dirty ass factory chicken...

it sounds like you should "shake and bake" your squirrel next time...at this point why not?  you've already gone way over "the line"

Pork is safe to cook at somewhat lower temps.  Pink is acceptable to a minor extent.  There hasn't been a domestic case of trichinosis in decades stemming from pork.  The rare cases that have occurred have been introduced in foreign countries or from undercooked wild game.

To be fair, squirrel was (is?) a pretty common meal in poor and rural areas of the country.  I'd try it

Ah, OK I stand corrected. We tend to call them tree-rats over here, and they're pretty much considered vermin. Not the Red Squirrel, of course. That's a different matter.

Now hedgehog's, that's good eatiin'.

Well it's not like you would roll up to McDonalds and order squirrel mcnuggets, but it's not unheard of for people to shoot and cook them
