It's an crappy processor and motherboard speed etc, but for the price it should be sufficient for what he needs to do.
I talked to my dad tonight and I might just give my bro my old Dell Inspiron that my dad is currently using. It's got a bad RAM slot but still has 512MB of RAM and is a quick processor. I might stop by Bestbuy tomorrow to take a peek at it. Might just be better off giving bro some money and the old laptop and hope it doesn't die anytime soon. It's about four years old now so it could drop dead any day.
