Sweet!  I still use it... only because I haven't found a valid 64 bit version of the one you like.

I'm ClamWin these days.

I still have a few people I know that run the free AVG, but I've stopped recommending it.

Maybe time to change.  Avast has been a bit flakey...

I have used Avast! regularly on various PCs.  Seems to work fine.  I use it on my wife's PC.  I always use a different anti-virus on her PC versus mine.  Also her PC is Windows 7 64 bit and Avast! works well with it.

Usually if a virus gets past one brand of AV and propagates over the network, another brand has a pretty darn good chance of catching it.  Thus one PC in the house is able to help with the repair work needed for the other.

I figured it was something like that. Wouldn't it be better to just set the policies properly and not worry about pc's being able to carry them across the network?
