Ober, you have to do it. It's such an intense experience - I wanted to go straight back up and do it again!

awesome, Rob. Was this the charity jump?
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Fun! I went once. Totally worth it but I'm not sure I'd go again

Hmmm, I don't see any fire coming out of that plane.  I think I'll pass...

I feel like I get enough risk in my life with my current hobbies.   Although I would definitely pick up speedriding if I had the time and skiing ability

I think someday I'd like to try this.. when you jump tandem, how much of the physical aspect of not dying is on you, verse the instructor?  Like, I'm not a fit person.  And I'm kinda heavy.  Will I die? or does the other person do all the hard parts and you're just along for the ride? Also, are you allowed to take selfies while you're on the way down?

It's all on the instructor until the landing. It definitely takes it out on shoulders and legs when the chute opens. I have bruises on my shoulders. When the landing happens you have a choice. Lift your legs or have them broken. In the UK at least there are weight limits. I was 243 pounds () and had to drop below 210 to be allowed to do it.

"Will I die?" Well, I didn't, and it's pretty safe, but of course there is a risk - you're falling 2 1/2 miles after all. It's a rush, that's for sure. My first reaction when e hit the ground was when can I do it again.

As for selfies, I wasn't allowed a GP, but I suspect that's more to do with them wanting to sell a video package.
