Seeking .so guidance
« on: August 24, 2005, 09:17:15 AM »
Since I'm banned from cboard, I need to ask for help here.
Heh, wish I could keep my mouth shut now...

Anyway, a while ago I was working on Windows (not out of choice, I can assure you  ) and wrote a small header containing functions to load functions from DLL's. Now as far as I know, the equivalent of a Win32 .dll on Linux is a .so?

So what I need to know is how to load functions from libraries under Linux.

I'll go googling for it now, but still would appreciate input as always  :)

Err...
I'm going to go with my instincts here and say I won't bother arguing because it'll only get me banned.

*edit*

Not that I couldn't put up a pretty good argument :)

Gladly :)
I didn't realise people followed up arguments from one forum to another  :dunno:
