Topic: Fast food place thing...

McDonalds:
 - little burgers: actually has meat in it, marvelous.
 - big burgers: no idea
 - big mac: What you get when you take a bit of bread and then a spoonful of thousand island
 - chicken nuggets: tastes like msg with fish sauce.
 - ice cream: biggest blocks of ice in the universe.
 - mcflurry: needs chisels
 - fries: good (shoot me, I stand my ground)

A&W:
 - Burgers: possibly my favourite out of the lot
 - Fries: Meh. Smells like chicken all the time
 - chubby chicken: it is like eating shrimp
 - grilled chicken: made out of cardboard.
 - onion rings: 90% breadcrumbs

Arby's:
 - sandwich: good for a while, then becomes boring
 - fries: yes please
 - all other non-roast beef sandwich: there's the deli, DO IT.

Subway:
 - free dried out vegetables served by arrogant server that don't give a damn about the food. "Too much or too little" is their motto.

Quiznos:
 - It is like a toasty version of subway. A perfect choice for people with veggiphobia.

Wendy's:
 - I love them all. Please do.

Dairy Queen:
 - It is poised to rob you dry of any monetary valuables. More expensive than anything I had visited.
 - Burgers: Think of it as McDonalds Hamburger++, but 3 times the price.
 - ice cream: best thing ever.
 - chicken strips: used for breaking windows, and jabbing into things.

Burger King:
 - It is the ultimate test of patience. I stood in line and it took the server 10 min to serve 3 people.
 - Burger: forall b <- burger king burgers, and forall d <- dairy queen burger, and a tastiness function t(n), then t(b) = t(d)
 - Fries: not the worst fries ever, but damn near.

Harveys:
 - Burgers: Beef, mystery meat, or cardboard. Open grill fail, and their veggie topping is the least appetiziing.
 - fries: it has the same experience as eating coal.


Here is my little rant, I can go to bed now. Share your thoughts on fastfood?

Arbys: I worked there for about a year.  I would still eat there.  Good stuff... love the Jamocha shakes!

Subway: I have no complaints.  I've eaten a LOT of subs there and only had a few bad ones.

Quiznos: over-priced, not as fresh as subway.

Wendy's: my favorite fast food.  I would switch the fries with McD's though.

-Filthy, nasty, and the best fast food chain in my area to get anally raped from the inside out thanks to the constant food poisoning.
-!?!-What the fuck is a Frosty anyway.  It should be drinkable because it ain't ice cream.

Burger King
-Still pretty filthy but it hasn't given me a prison sentence (yet). 
-I like the Whopper Junior.
-Fries are OK because they always mix a few onion rings in by accident and it breaks up the boredom.

McDonalds
-Usually reasonably clean if you avoid the restrooms.
-Try to avoid the employees when they are outside the building.  They are zombies and may feed on your and or your loved ones brain matter.
-Fries are usually pretty decent.
-Cheeseburgers are decent.  I think it is the onions...
-I love the sweet tea.  Needs lots of ice though.
-Something about their Coke is different.  I like it.  Usually don't like Coke.

Hardies
-Damned fine burgers for fast food.
-Damned fine fries for fast food.

DQ
-Once or twice a year I get a black raspberry shake.
-I find everything else a complete waste of money.

Subway
-Stopped going there after repeated internal gang rapes.
-Will never go back.

Rita's
-Pretty expensive sugar water...
-The frozen custard is actually silicone based.  Yeah I kind of like it.
-Way too expensive.

Baskin Robbins
-I can't afford the payments.

A&W
-Burgers are good.  Taste like burgers from a cheap bar in a small town in Michigan.
-The rest of the food should be avoided.
-GOD the root beer right off tap is heavenly.  GLAGALALALALLA!
-They make some sort of root beer shake that is slightly more addictive than heroin.
-I miss this place.  None near us.

5 Guys Burgers
-Beef has changed lately and the burgers are substandard at best.
-Fries are very good.  Kind of like little baked potatoes.

Chee Burger Chee Burger
-Overpriced garbage.  We went once, and left most of the smallish portions on the table.  Yuck.
-Noted that two separate tables near us were displeased as well.

Quiznos
-Overpriced with poor quality food.
-Never go there.

Arby's
-Some of their sandwiches are ok.
-Avoid the big selling stuff like the roast beef.

Actually, this entire thread sort of makes me a little sick.

That said, I usually only eat chicken nuggets from Wendy's and ice cream from DQ.  I'm not sure what knuck meant by "expensive."  I usually get a cup at Rita's for under $2.  I think the custard is only worth getting as a gelati because it's so heavy.

-the new seven layer nachos for $.99 are excellent - try them!
-favorite food: soft taco supreme
-second fav: beef baja chalupa
-to the person handing me my order at the drive through: STOP ASKING ME WHAT KIND OF SAUCE I WANT IF YOU WILL NOT GIVE ME WHAT I WANT ANYWAYS!!! they get orders eight almost all the time but sauce maybe 5% of the time. Even yesterday the guy asked me twice - twice I answered FIRE!!!! - I got mild.

McDonalds
-don't like the fries.
-I like the $.39 hamburger specials

-Don't eat there too often anymore
-the breakfast fucking sucks.

-Best fries - ever! always hot, never stale.

-BY FAR MY FAV FAST FOOD
-typical meal there: fried rice, orange chicken, beijing beef, chicken eggroll and a side of mandarin sauce.
-chow mein is good too
-so is mandarin chicken
-and a bunch of other shit
-staff is always friendly
-I feel good eating it. And after eating it as well - can't say that about any of the above.
-they are building one right by my work - woo!

chipotle
-love it
-usual meal: steak burrito bowl, black beans, rice, hot and mild salsa, sour cream, cheese and guac. My wife gets the veggie crunchy tacos
-their chips are the best
-you can get beer there
-the locations are always clean and good looking



Overall, as I'm getting older I eat less and less fast food. Sometimes I really have a taste for a big mac or a whopper. Had a big mac not too long ago (within two months) but can't remember having a whopper.

If I do eat fast food though, it is usually chipotle or panda. They're probably the most expensive from the bunch, but I can call their meals a dinner - not so with the others.

As noted above, I'll go to taco bell about 2 times a month for lunch. maybe once to subway.

wont eat there. burgers taste like shit, fries are subpar and either come with no salt or way too much salt. Breakfast is overpriced and gives me the shits. Orange juice is alays orange water.

ice cream is killer, but the food is overpriced. I got a chili dog meal which is the dog, fries, and a soda. The thing cost like 7 or 8 bucks. The fries were small and tasted like ass and the chili dog was a regular cheap hotdog on a cheap roll with a slice of knock off kraft cheese rapped around it and some lukewarm canned chili dribbled on it. Soda wasnt bad.

oooh, what about Jimmy Johns - they have pretty good sandwiches - the midnight italian club with cherry bell peppers is great.

The only thing I like from KFC is cole slaw - sometimes I'll get just that.

Jimmy Johns is only good when you don't have it every weekend.  blegh.  I get sick of it by the end of the spring semester.

But I always pick up the turkey sandwich with the avocado spread, cucumbers, and sprouts.
