Not to break all hte jokes and fun (because I'm torn between being a Cancer and a Gemini now), but it was my understanding when I first read about all of this that the changes in dates only apply to people born after 2009 or something stupid like that.

I don't think that's true. I thought it was the difference in the position of the stars from 3,000 years ago caused by the wobble in the earths spin. The difference over the last 50 years should be negligible.
