Title: Oven baked burgers in sauce
Post by: Steve on October 09, 2012, 03:49:23 PM
Making these tonight for the second time. Very good.

1LB Burger
1 Onion
3/4c Milk
1c bread crumbs (I like to use original shak n bake instead)
1c flour
Horse Radish sauce
Favorite BBQ sauce
1c water

Preheat oven to 350.

Chop the onion. Mix burger, onion, milk, and bread crumbs well in a bowl and then form your patties.

Brown the patties on the stove. Just enough to brown them you don't want to over do it. Remove the patties to a baking dish. Glass works best.

Pour the drippings from the pan into a bowl and then add the water, flour and sauces. It is up to you how much of each sauce you add really. It's tough to measure something like that because we all have differing tastes. I just kind of wing it and go heavier on the BBQ.

Mix well and if needed heat the mixture so that you have a nice blended gravy. Pour the gravy over the patties in the baking dish and then bake at 350 for around an hour.

I've been buying the Guinness BBQ cause (forget the brand). It's awesome.

I haven't tried that one. I usually go with Sweet Baby Ray's but my fav is Jack Daniels. Ashley can't stand the JD so I almost never buy it anymore.
