Anyone else cook these up this time of year? I let them dry, salt them, and bake in the oven at low heat for a while. Anyone have a special or diff way i want to mix it up a lil this year
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

im bored and wanted a snack so i tossed some butter in the microwave for bout 20 seconds to melt, mixed in the seeds to get a nice coat, and cooked them in 2min intervals till golden brown stirring in between. Then i sprinkled on some sugar, salt, and pepper (reg i have to but cayenne tomm).

pretty tasty

That's what we do. Mmm... good. I generally like things plain, not a big fan of flavor, so I'll stick with that tactic again this year unless the wife overrules me.

Yo a teaspoon of the hot stuff might be a bit much.  Careful.  I have heard (never tried) that mixing the cayenne and a small amount of brown sugar works well too.  Careful not to burn the sugar.  Carmelizing it is what you are after.

I've always wondered what part of the pumpkin
people actually eat. The inside goo isn't appetizing
at all; it's actually really really gross. Who was
that guy that cut one open and decided to eat
it.

Same with the egg.

Well, you rip the goo out then eat the flesh...
