Ive looked at the preferences but couldnt find anything for opening new tabs behind the current tab when clicking on a link.

I do this in firefox, Ill right click, open link in new tab, and it will open it behind the current tab, not taking focus on the tab I was on.

Anyway to accomplish this in Opera?

you can right click and choose open in background tab, is that what you are looking for?

I was gonna say, people actually right-click and select a context menu option rather than just clicking the middle button once?
