I searched long and hard probably 18 months ago. I use a free one that isn't developed anymore but it doesn't have Paypal support. I'm not even sure if the one I use would work on the newer versions of Joomla. All of my sites are using 1.5 still.
That being said, I think that extension was on my shortlist as paid alternatives.
