What's for lunch?
« on: June 22, 2012, 11:41:03 AM »
Last night I grilled some home made bacon cheddar hamburgers, and they were great. I have a few patties mixed up that did not get used, so I plan to throw them on the grill. I also just found a zucchini in my garden that is WAY ahead of it's time, almost three foot long. The next biggest isn't even ready to be picked yet! So I picked this monster, and i figure i will throw a few large slices on the grill while I'm at it :)

The rest I will probably combine between baking (Zucchini Parmesan for dinner I'm thinking) and some bread.

What brand of the frozen food? I finally found a brand of frozen chinese i like, but it is pricey. Comes in a plastic white container, always tastes incredibly fresh and good. I used to buy pai mai or whatever, and pf changs. No good imo.

Still cannot find a good frozen egg roll.

Chicken gyro from the little family owned hospital cafeteria.  I love it and it's my last day of work here so...

my wife made an awesome garden salad: lettuce, cherry tomatoes-halved, chopped cucumber, our own green onion, radish thinly sliced. It was awesome without any dressings.

I can't eat salad without dressing. Lunch was great, the burger was juicy and the zucchini slices came out really well.

Had a bowl of chicken noodle soup so far, the only thing in my fridge is beer and cheese so I'm not sure what I'm going to have to compliment that.

I love soup - but not when it is hot out!
